Join the Artemis II Splashdown Watch Party and witness the crew’s epic return from a record-breaking, 248,655-mile journey from earth. From 6 to 8 p.m. at Big Spring International Park, participants and space enthusiasts can celebrate Huntsville’s heritage and witness history in the making while enjoying local food trucks and visits from the Space and Rocket Center’s mascots. Livestreaming begins at 6 p.m. with the splashdown expected at approximately 7:07 p.m. Hosted by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber in partnership with the City of Huntsville, Downtown Huntsville Inc. (DHI), NASA, and Marshall Space Flight Center.
