The Carnegie Carnival is a full day of Mardi Gras-themed events starting with a half marathon – the Carnival Frolic 13.1 – and culminating in a nighttime parade through downtown Decatur. Additional activities include kids’ art activities, the Children’s Parade, and the Canine Parade. The Carnegie Carnival is a fundraiser benefiting the Carnegie Visual Arts Center.
