Drake State Community & Technical College strives to prepare students for the workforce with a mix of academics, technical training programs, and grant-funded initiatives, all at an affordable price. Students can choose from a number of pathways to continue their education including associate degrees, certificate programs, industry certification, and apprenticeships, with programs ranging from advanced manufacturing and automotive to health sciences and hospitality management. Drake State has transfer agreements with every public four-year university in the state, allowing students to automatically transfer after earning an associate degree. Additionally, Drake State is designated a Caring Campus by the Institute for Evidence-Based Change, meaning that faculty members are dedicated to creating the best experience for every student.
