The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is a public comprehensive research university located as the anchor tenant of Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama. UAH offers more than 100 programs of study in six colleges, as well as nationally ranked degree and research programs. The university pairs its top-tier academics with strong industry and government partnerships ranging from HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Redstone Arsenal, and various aerospace and defense contractors. UAH students hail from 49 states and internationally to make up a student body of more than 8,500. With more than 200 student organizations, an active fraternity and sorority community, 15 NCAA Division II sport programs, student government, and more, there are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom. Additionally, more than 82% of all UAH alumni reside in Alabama, contributing to the local and state economies.
