UAB Medicine Huntsville, a clinical enterprise of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), is the largest multi-specialty physician practice in North Alabama and a leading outpatient care facility in the region. It is home to the UAB Heersink School of Medicine Huntsville Regional Medical Campus, where medical students and residents work alongside experienced physicians to deliver hands-on patient care and undergo residency training. UAB Medicine Huntsville’s four clinics – Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry – focus on acute care, preventative care, chronic disease management, routine well-care needs, and behavioral health concerns. Its facility includes more than 90 physicians and active research programs focused on assessing, treating, and providing patient education for chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and mental health issues.
