Nestled in the Tennessee Valley and surrounded by mountains connected to the Cumberland Plateau, Huntsville is home to a thriving economy and continuously growing population. A low cost of living, competitive schools, and premier medical facilities bolster the city’s status as a top place to live in the Southeast.

Huntsville is the most populous city in the state of Alabama with an estimated population of 249,102 residents as of July 2025. Since the 2020 census, the city of Huntsville has seen its population increase by almost 16%, making it one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States.
