With everything from Goo Goo Dolls concerts to plays about Bluey and Bingo, art exhibitions, tea festivals, car shows, and more, here is a list of events that are sure to extend your summer fun!

Step into the dazzling universe of Andy Warhol at the Huntsville Museum of Art’s WARHOL: Film, Fashion, Photography exhibition. From now until October, attendees can connect with one of the most influential artists of the 20th century through more than 150 of his works on display. Tickets are available online.
August 1
Unlimited bites from 25+ local restaurants await at the Huntsville Food Fest! One ticket provides access to all-you-can eat small plates, as well as seating and the opportunity to connect with the community at The Royal at Stovehouse. Participating restaurants are listed online.

“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,” but most especially when Shakespeare is being performed in the Huntsville Botanical Garden! Experience the thrill of live, outdoor theater with rotating productions of Shakespeare’s comedies, Much Ado About Nothing and The Taming of the Shrew – all backdropped by stunning sunsets and the natural beauty of the garden.

The Huntsville Madison Chamber invites candidates in the engineering and technology industries to the Huntsville In-Person Career Fair. Registered attendees will be able to connect face-to-face with companies who are seeking and actively hiring in the engineering and technology sectors, or who are looking for candidates with security clearance.

Enjoy great beer, pretzels, and live music under the Saturn V at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s Biergarten event! Guests can attend for free – with authentic German food and beer available for purchase – to celebrate the history of the Rocket City’s space program.

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience in a cocktail glass at the Space & Rocket Center’s Cocktails & Cosmos at INTUITIVE Planetarium event. Every Friday night this month, attendees can sip on themed cocktails while enjoying weekly educational programs about Habitable Worlds around Dead Stars, Summer Skies, Cosmic Treasure, Weird Stars, and Red Rovers, Red Rovers: Mars Update. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. with presentations starting at 7 p.m.

Walk to honor lives impacted by substance use disorders and celebrate recovery at the 2026 End Addiction Walk. Taking place at Big Spring International Park, attendees can join the walk, participate in educational and memorial activities, and hear from keynote speaker, Nick Valencia.
August 14
Follow the lamplight to The Moonlight Market – “one of the best ways to experience Friday night in downtown Huntsville!” Every second Friday from now until October, the Downtown Square comes to life with more than 40 local artisan vendors, shoppers, and live music. Vendors open at 5:30 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.
August 15
Steep in a world of herbs and flavor at the Huntsville Tea Festival at Annabella. The festival will feature a tea market where attendees can sample and shop a wide variety of teas and goodies, meet various tea makers and companies, learn about botanical wellness, and more. Swag bags will be available to the first 500 attendees.

The iconic American singer, songwriter, actress, and seven-Grammy-Award winner, Gladys Knight is on tour and making a stop at the Von Braun Center. The performance will start at 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30. Tickets are on sale now.

Calling all car enthusiasts from across the Southeast for the Rocket City Octane Auto Show – North Alabama’s premier indoor auto show! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Von Braun Center, the family-friendly event will feature a 150+ lineup of vehicles, fun activities, contests, special guests, and interactive experiences for all ages.

If you’d give up forever to see the Goo Goo Dolls in concert, your wait is over! Starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Orion Amphitheater, experience the band live as they play hit songs “Iris,” “Slide,” “Black Balloon,” and more, along with an opening performance from American rock band, Neon Trees.

Cool music, cold drinks, and good times await at the 805 After Five concert series! Every third Thursday from now until October, thousands will gather at Campus 805’s Butler Green Park for a free concert, local food trucks, yard games, retail vendors, and more. August’s spotlight artist is The Bends.

Experience the heart and soul of historic downtown Madison at Third Thursdays on Main! Grab your friends and enjoy extended retail hours, pop-up vendors, family-friendly activities, live music, delicious food, and special events hosted by fan-favorite local businesses.

Rolling into Big Spring Park, the Downtown Food Truck Rallies are back for the summer! With a rotating lineup of fan-favorite food trucks and brand-new vendors serving everything from savory street eats to seasonal sweet treats, there is something to satisfy every craving!
August 22
Get ready for a blast from the past at the City of Madison’s 90s Adult Field Day. The inclusive event will feature throwback activities for people of all abilities and a day of fun at Dublin Park. More information can be found online.

See Mum, Dad, Bingo, and Bluey come to life on stage during Bluey’s Big Play! The theatrical adaptation of the Emmy-winning TV show will feature original music and life-sized puppets of the furry family as Bluey and Bingo try to teach Dad how to play a fun game during Sunday quiet time.
August 27
Presented by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Farm-to-Table: A Table of Neighbors is an evening of celebrating community, connection, and Madison County agriculture. The event invites guests to connect with community farmers and neighbors over a locally inspired meal featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients, as well as to learn about the hard work and dedication behind the food.
August 28
Concerts on the Dock invites local, regional, and nationally renowned musicians to play at Lowe Mill A&E’s historic loading-dock-turned-stage. Inspired by western swing, country, bluegrass, jazz, and blues, attendees will enjoy The Gumption as August’s featured artist.
August 29
Kick off the 2026 college football season at the Story Financial Partners Bowl at the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium. Hosting its first-ever Division I football game, the stadium invites guests to enjoy the space while watching North Alabama take on Samford.
